In the end, is a person more often judged by what they consciously try to do, or what they unconsciously neglect to do?
Consider this a survey.

Definitely the second one. Let's face it my friend: people are bitches. No matter how well you perform, it is always these tiny little mistakes that you don't even realize or mean to make that eventually count. Of course, some say they always try to maintain objectivity, or at least-so they say. But hey, we're not living in a fairy tale, the heart sometimes speaks louder than the brain. But just in case this can make you feel better, precisely because the heart sometimes speaks louder than the brain, people tend to change their judgments as fast as they snap their fingers. This is usually determined by how well you get along with them, how good your relationship with them is, and ultimately, how well you can "silently" convince them that no matter how much you've fucked up, your personality and determination are more than everything they solely need to take into consideration :)
So hang on there, I'm sure you'll do well with this one! :)
I am designed in layers and they do not always complement one another. I have a core that I am not always aware of, underlying and hidden by every new mask I put on for survival. I may have noticed things you missed.

i'd vote for the first one. the term 'try', though, is to me like a grey territory where interpretations matter a lot.
One will be judged for one's actions and inactions; and ultimately one will be judged for one's intention and one's omission or negligence :) R.
I'd say it's the latter.
for stg we unconciously neglect is stg we cannot control... n by the time we open our eyes, it has done stg big n caused a trouble
I think it is both. :)
